Miltech Simulations has given their UK Carrier Strike Group add-on a big upgrade. The UK Carriers Strike Group V2 includes a big visual upgrade, functional new upgrades through Miltech Simulations’ Carrier Toolbar app and new locations.

The visual upgrade includes entirely new 3D models for the HMS Queen Elizabeth and the HMS Prince of Wales. New modelling and new PBR textures should make for a better and more immersive experience. Also included are new carrier interiors in the form of a hangar (that can be reached with the elevator) as well as bridge interior, including the ATC tower. The deck crew and vehicles have also been renewed.

Miltech Simulations has also added 24 new locations for the UK Carrier Strike Group V2 release, 12 of which are static while the other 12 are moving. V2 also supports Miltech Simulations’ own Carrier Toolbar App, that adds a range of new functionality to the carrier package. You will be able to animate the carrier elevators, align the carriers to the wind, quick taxi, get directions to the carriers and teleport, among other features.

Miltech Simulations’ UK Carrier Strike Group V2 is available for $9.50 USD through their own website. Existing customers of the UK Carrier Strike Group (v1) get a free upgrade to V2.
